Join to apply for the Arborist Crew Leader role at R. P. Marzilli & Company, Inc. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking additional Arborists to join our team. We are looking for multiple individuals at all skill levels to strengthen our Tree Care division, from ground person to experienced Certified Arborist and/or climber.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform tree pruning techniques of trees and shrubs, including advanced techniques for pruning and removing trees near obstacles and in high-risk situations.
- Lead a team of tree professionals, managing performance and conducting knowledge transfer of techniques and skills.
- Willingness to learn and/or participate in: tree climbing, pruning, rigging, cabling and bracing, removals.
- Properly maintain and operate equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
- Implement work zone safety procedures.
- Maintain a strong commitment to adhering to R.P. Marzilli's safe workplace culture.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
- Certifications such as MCLP, MCH, ISA, or state arborist certifications preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform the essential physical duties listed above.
- Knowledge and experience in equipment operation, cabling and bracing, and safety standards.

Pay Range: $25/hr - $35/hr
