Our client, a growing and successful business based in Northampton, is looking for an organised and detail-focused Warehouse Stock Controller to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse or stock control experience who is looking to develop their career within a busy and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring stock levels remain accurate, organised, and efficiently managed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Carrying out regular stock checks and cycle counts.
  • Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
  • Receiving, checking, and recording incoming stock.
  • Ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely within the warehouse.
  • Picking and preparing stock for orders when required.
  • Updating stock records and warehouse systems accurately.
  • Moving stock around the warehouse as required.
  • Working closely with the warehouse and wider team to ensure stock is available when needed.
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties during busy periods.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Ensuring all stock movements are recorded accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse or stock control experience is desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A proactive and hardworking approach.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use warehouse stock systems.
