Shift time 8:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday Job Summary As a Container Unloader, you will help move incoming goods safely and efficiently from containers into the warehouse. You will handle materials, check items as they are unloaded and support accurate movement of stock through the receiving process. Duties Load and unload goods, using safe materials-handling practices and care when carrying out heavy lifting. Check deliveries against accompanying information, identify visible damage or discrepancies, and pass concerns to the appropriate colleague. Use a warehouse management system to record goods and support organised shipping and receiving. Operate a forklift where appropriate and within your training, and keep unloading areas tidy and clear. Your impact: Accurate, careful unloading helps colleagues locate stock and prepare orders reliably. Skills Required: You should be able to handle materials safely, carry out heavy lifting, follow instructions and maintain accurate records using a warehouse management system. Preferred: Forklift skills, warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge or construction experience can help you work confidently with varied loads and equipment.
