Salary: £30,000 £33,000 per annum, depending on experience Our client, based in Northampton (NN4) , is looking for an experienced Production Operative to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in production, woodworking or manufacturing who is looking to develop their technical skills and progress within a successful business.
The successful candidate will have experience working with CAD tables , ideally ZUND , as well as CNC and other woodworking machinery .
Experience with HOMAG machinery would be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities Operating CAD cutting tables, ideally ZUND.
Operating CNC and other woodworking machinery.
Setting up and safely operating production machinery.
Working from technical drawings and production specifications.
Ensuring products are manufactured accurately and to a high standard.
Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process.
Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Supporting different areas of the production line as required.
Learning the full production process and developing knowledge across the business.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Requirements Minimum 6 months' relevant production or manufacturing experience .
Previous experience operating CAD tables, ideally ZUND.
Experience with CNC or woodworking machinery.
HOMAG experience would be advantageous.
Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
Ability to follow technical instructions and production specifications.
Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
Comfortable working in a busy production environment.
