EXPERIENCED JOINER WANTED – R. MITCHELL GLASS LTD
R. Mitchell Glass Ltd are recruiting an Experienced Joiner on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is based from our Galashiels factory, with work carried out across the Scottish Borders, Edinburgh and the Lothians. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key part of a hard-working, family-run business, contributing your skills while developing a long-term career within the Glass & Glazing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing a wide range of windows and doors to a high standard
- Measuring and cutting materials accurately
- Delivering excellent customer service and dealing professionally with clients
- Maintaining a clean, safe working environment
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth project delivery
- Meeting deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship
- Demonstrating punctuality and reliability
- Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations
Experience & Requirements
- Proven experience installing windows and doors (timber & PVC)
- Experience working to Glass & Glazing Federation guidelines (advantage but not essential)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of Health & Safety
- Competent using hand and power tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Full, current UK driving licence
