R. Mitchell Glass Ltd are recruiting an Experienced Joiner on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is based from our Galashiels factory, with work carried out across the Scottish Borders, Edinburgh and the Lothians. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key part of a hard-working, family-run business, contributing your skills while developing a long-term career within the Glass & Glazing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installing a wide range of windows and doors to a high standard
  • Measuring and cutting materials accurately
  • Delivering excellent customer service and dealing professionally with clients
  • Maintaining a clean, safe working environment
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Meeting deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship
  • Demonstrating punctuality and reliability
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations

Experience & Requirements

  • Proven experience installing windows and doors (timber & PVC)
  • Experience working to Glass & Glazing Federation guidelines (advantage but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety
  • Competent using hand and power tools
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Full, current UK driving licence
