The Role
We are looking for an Product Experience Owner embedded in the product team to own the user experience of one of our core automotive data platforms, from initial launch through the extended period afterward during which the platform’s structure remains largely stable while usage patterns and refinement needs continue to evolve.
Following launch, the focus of this role shifts from initial design toward continuous improvement — identifying friction points, validating that data visualizations are interpreted correctly, and delivering targeted enhancements.
This role combines product management, web-based platform design and UX expertise with a working knowledge of data visualization and post-launch usability analysis.
- Your Impact
- Experience Design — Own interaction design for the platform’s data products and AI-powered features, ensuring clients can find, trust, and act on the information presented.
- Data Visualization — Own the presentation of data across dashboards and reporting experiences, ensuring visualizations accurately represent underlying data and support correct interpretation.
- Post-Launch Usability — Following platform stabilization, focus on continuous refinement through usability testing, analysis of support ticket patterns, and targeted improvements that reduce friction without requiring full redesigns.
This represents the primary focus of the role after initial release.
- Voice & Content — Shape in-product language to ensure clarity and consistency.
- AI Feature Legibility — Partner with the AI features owner to ensure AI-powered outputs are presented in a way that supports appropriate user trust, including confidence signals, source attribution, and clear distinction between inferred and verified information.
Targeting strong adoption and trust in AI-powered features reflected in sustained use rather than one-time engagement.
- Research & Feedback Loops — Conduct ongoing user research to identify points of confusion and opportunities for improvement, feeding directly into the product backlog.
- Design Governance — Maintain consistency in visual and interaction patterns as the platform’s surfaces expand, ensuring new features align with existing design standards.
What You Bring
- A background in product design or UX, with experience in data-heavy or analytics products.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Experience operating in a mature-product phase, focused on refinement and validation rather than initial design.
- Ability to interpret usage data and support feedback as meaningful design input.
- Understanding of how AI-generated content should be presented to support appropriate user trust.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with product management, engineering, and client-facing teams.
- Nice to Have
- Experience designing for automotive, mobility, or other technical B2B data platforms.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries at scale.
- Exposure to how AI/ML outputs are communicated to non-technical users, including confidence scores, explainability, and source citation.
- Who You’ll Work With
- Product Management (roadmap, prioritization, requirements)
- AI Features owner (surfacing AI outputs clearly and responsibly)
- Engineering (front-end implementation, feasibility)
- Client Success and Support (feedback and friction points)
