Overview
We are a well established legal practice locally based in Wigan which is seeking to recruit a Full time Solicitor/Legal Executive/Senior Paralegal and or equivalent to assist a Director and Senior Solicitor working under supervision if required including working on their own variety of Fast Track and Multi Track/Complex Personal Injury cases and taking detailed witness statements in multi track cases to work 5 days per week.
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years experience as a Solicitor/Legal Executive/Senior Paralegal and be available to commence employment by no later than the 31st August 2026 and must also have the following essential qualities/abilities.
Responsibilities
- Able to deal with a varied Personal Injury Claimant Caseload
- Experience in taking witness statements
- Experience on the MOJ Portal
- An ability to work in a very organized and diligent manner
- An ability to work in a very high pressure, high volume office environment.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with Case Management systems (Eclipse ProClaim) preferable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Proven Admin Skills.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience as a Solicitor/Legal Executive/Senior Paralegal or equivalent.
- Ability to work under supervision when required and independently on Fast Track and Multi Track/Complex Personal Injury cases.
Salary and Application
Salary is negotiable dependant on experience and the successful applicant will be subject to a 6 month probationary period.
