How to prepare for a job interview at R H Bodyworks - Turbine Commercials

Know Your Stuff

Make sure you brush up on your technical knowledge about HGVs and the specific models you'll be working with. Familiarise yourself with common issues, servicing techniques, and the latest industry standards. This will show that you're not just experienced but also genuinely interested in the role.

Showcase Your Experience

Prepare to discuss your previous roles in detail. Highlight specific projects or repairs you've handled, especially those that demonstrate your ability to work to a high standard. Use examples that relate directly to the duties listed in the job description, like ministry inspections or MOT preparations.

Ask Smart Questions

Interviews are a two-way street, so come prepared with questions that show your interest in the company and the role. Ask about the team dynamics, the types of vehicles you'll be working on, or any ongoing training opportunities. This not only shows your enthusiasm but also helps you gauge if the company is the right fit for you.

Be Professional Yet Approachable

While it's important to maintain professionalism, don't forget to let your personality shine through. Be friendly and approachable, as this can help build rapport with your interviewers. Remember, they’re looking for someone who fits well within their team, so being personable can give you an edge.
