R G Carter are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Lincoln working on projects ranging in value of £4 to £15 million. Applicants must have relevant experience as a QS in the construction industry. The role will involve working closely with the Delivery Team to efficiently plan and deliver a range of projects including newbuild and refurbishment across various sectors.
To communicate effectively with all parties and look after our clients at all stages of the project to ensure efficient and professional delivery. A full driving licence is required, as the role will involve work-related travel to sites. Above all, the right skills and attitude are what we’re looking for, someone who is commercially astute, conscientious, works well in a team and can drive projects forward as well as develop good relationships with colleagues, clients and our supply chain.

- Good communication, presentation and diplomacy skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Must have knowledge of JCT and NEC form of contracts
- Ideally a BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying and/or Commercial Management
