We are looking for a professional, clinically competent and compassionate dentistto provide high quality dental care to our patients at the R-Dental practice ( fully private) for three days a week. This role involves focusing on general dental care, delivering high-quality patient-centred care with ethics and integrity. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering excellence in clinical practice, being compassionate and involved in team collaboration.

R-Dental is a Consultant led private practice providing Specialist and General dental services. The candidate will be part of a team, will collaborate closely with the practice Principal and other specialists, enhancing patient care through shared expertise, will be able to access advanced treatment options.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver a wide range of private dental treatments including examination, treatment planning and delivery, preventive care, restorations and all aspects of routine dental care.
  • Provide clear, honest, and patient-focusedplanning and advice.
  • Ensure detailed and accurate record-keeping in line with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Comply with all relevant practice policies including infection control (HTM 01-05), data protection, and patient confidentiality.
  • Work closely with the dental team and support a positive working environment.
  • Participate in ongoingaudits, and clinical governance activities.
  • Up to datewith CPD and guidelinesto ensure best practices are followed.
  • Part time opportunity, 3 days per week. Flexible on days; hours to be discussed.

Essential Criteria

  • Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
  • Valid professional indemnity insurance.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Current CPD record meeting GDC requirements.
  • Experience in a private dental setting.

  • Empathetic approach to patients.
  • Strong communication and rapport building skills.
  • High level of clinical competence, private dentistry acumenand attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with digital dentistry systems and modern equipment.
