R & B Catering Ltd is seeking an experienced Takeaway Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy takeaway.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen and takeaway operations, supervising and supporting staff, preparing rotas, recruiting, training and managing staff performance, ordering stock and maintaining inventory levels, monitoring sales performance and helping to control operating costs, ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations, maintaining till and cash records, delivering excellent customer service, handling customer enquiries and complaints professionally, and liaising with suppliers and relevant local authorities where required.

Applicants must be 18 years or older and have at least two years' experience in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant, takeaway or hospitality environment.

Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills, a good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety requirements, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service are essential.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £26,000–£28,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Flexibility is essential, as the successful candidate will be required to work evenings, weekends, late nights, public holidays, and other peak trading periods.

Availability to work throughout the Isle of Man TT, Manx Grand Prix, Christmas, Easter, and other exceptionally busy periods is an essential requirement of the role.

The successful candidate must also be confident managing customer interactions and leading the team during busy service hours to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the takeaway.
