Over 20 years in, we are a top player in global tech recruitment. QXi Group is home to three distinct technology recruitment and consulting brands; Montash, Remobi and Trillion. QXi has been built on the agility, drive and quality of its people. Each brand operates with its own identity, specialism and market position but shares a common infrastructure, values and ambition. We are looking for someone to take ownership of how we find, develop and keep our talent.
We are on a high-growth journey and we need a Head of Talent who matches our ambition. Someone who builds the infrastructure that brings the right people in and makes sure they stay. The quality of every single person we bring through the door is everything.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a chance to redefine what talent looks like at QXi. By building a smarter function, where employer brand, EVP and the way we hire all work as a single, coherent approach rather than separate activities. You will own the full talent ecosystem across the group: employer brand, EVP, acquisition, onboarding and retention. You will be a genuine business partner, present in commercial conversations, contributing to growth planning and held accountable for the quality and longevity of the people we hire.
The majority of our hires are salespeople and recruiters. You need to understand that world, the motivations, the culture, what makes a great biller stay and what makes them leave. In our business, service is everything; the standard we hire to directly reflects the standard we deliver externally. Quality in, quality out. Outside of those hires, you will support operational functions across the group.
Requirements
- Non-negotiable
- Credibility in the recruitment world. You understand what makes a great biller tick, what motivates them and what loses them.
- Proven EVP and employer brand ownership, built from scratch, not inherited.
- ATS architecture experience including automation and AI feature implementation.
- Comfortable presenting data and talent insight to senior leadership.
- Applied AI literacy. You are already using AI tools to make your work sharper, not just talking about it.
The Mindset
- You think like a marketeer and operate like a strategist.
- You are not looking for a volume hiring role. You want to build infrastructure that makes hiring a consequence of everything else working.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and energised by building.
- You have outgrown the ceiling of a purely operational talent role and want genuine commercial partnership.
This role is probably not for you if
- You measure success by the number of CVs you process or offers you make.
- You need a large team around you to operate effectively.
- The idea of presenting retention data to brand MDs feels outside your comfort zone.
- You are looking for a traditional HR career path; this is not an HR role.
WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
Most internal talent roles are built around a process that already exists. This one is not. You are joining at the point where the function is being redesigned, which means the person who takes this role will define what good looks like at QXi Group for years to come. You will have a direct line to the leadership team and Board, genuine ownership of your remit and a business that understands the difference between a talent partner and a recruiter with a different job title.
