To assist in the expansion of our charging infrastructure in the UK, we are looking for a Bid Writer. In your day-to-day activities, you will be supporting our accomplished bid team by producing, to deadlines, compelling and successful bids for electric charging infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Research and analysis of tender documents, project requirements and other relevant information
- Draft, edit and review bid response documents including technical, financial and commercial components
- Presenting business cases to senior management
- Liaise and build relationships with external and internal stakeholders including clients and subcontractors
- Support the bid team in all aspects of the bid process from initial concept to contractor award
- Assist in the development and implementation of bid strategies, tactics and processes to ensure successful bids
- Work closely with the project team to ensure alignment of the bid with the project planning and delivery
- Reporting to our senior Bid Manager
- Any other duties as requested
Requirements:
- A passion for bid writing with a strong emphasis on copywriting
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal communication
- Able to work with tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities
- Self-motivated person with a can-do attitude
- High attention to detail with excellent editing and proofreading skills
- Open to learning new skills, we are a growing company where teamwork and flexibility are key to our success
- A degree or equivalent preferred in fields such as Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, English, or Technical Writing can be beneficial
