Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced full-stack .NET developer to join our team in a new and exciting role. This role will initially be supporting an array of clients, helping our support team to continue to provide an excellent service, whilst maintaining their award-winning systems to ensure reliability. In time, this role is expected to expand to support other additional clients as we introduce 'Managed Services' to our portfolio of service offerings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling escalations by our support team, developing and maintaining software applications that meet business needs and delivering exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an escalation point for the technical support team, resolving complex issues that require advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Diagnose and resolve software-related problems efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption for customers.
- When changes are required: analyse, scope, design, develop and test fixes and updates to existing products - following Agile principles and processes, working with the customer/product owner where applicable.
- Collaborate with support staff to provide guidance and share best practices for handling technical challenges.
- Document solutions and contribute to the knowledge base to improve future support processes.
- When support demand is low, assist with other development projects, including coding, testing, and implementing new features or enhancements.
- Maintain a strong understanding of QWARE products and underlying technologies to deliver expert-level support.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in C# .NET software development.
- Comfortable working on backend (e.g. API) web services, as well as Front-end (UX, Blazor predominantly) web services.
