Warehouse Operator

QVIS Lighting and Security is an independently owned business based in Hilsea, Portsmouth. We are an industry‑leading provider of security and lighting products distributed through the electrical wholesale channel.

Location: Hilsea, Portsmouth
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:30am – 6:30pm
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all courier deliveries are completed daily in a timely manner.
  • Unload courier vans and trailers safely using manual handling techniques or pallet trucks.
  • Verify shipment contents against delivery documentation.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in shipments.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Good level of fitness required for manual handling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Adaptability to changing workloads and priorities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
