The Opportunity
We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Chiswick Park, on a one year fixed term contract. It\’s a diverse role. Each week we feature hundreds of products on TV and on our website and social media channels; products which range from beauty to clothing, from kitchenware to garden products.
These products travel from our Knowsley site to Chiswick Park, and when they arrive they need to be sorted, stored and then prepped for the live shows. You\’ll use computer systems to help track and store items, and be given plans by our production team to know what item is needed when. However, it is down to you to ensure that the right clothes are available for a show, in the right place and in tip-top condition and ready for their close up.
The role is based onsite Monday to Friday between 09.00 – 17.30
Your Impact
- You will talk to lots of different people from several teams, so you will need to communicate well.
- You\’ll also need to be organised too, to keep track of all those items.
- You will need to be able to solve problems, so that if an item isn\’t where it\’s supposed to be (not that this happens a lot), you can step in and save the day.
What You Bring
- We\’re open to candidates from all backgrounds, so you don\’t necessarily need you to have worked in a Warehouse before, but a knowledge of warehouse operations.
- You\’ll need to have GCSE\’s or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English, and be able to find your way around a computer.
If you enjoy being a part of a team, creating experiences and delighting customers, you’ll love it here. If you’re excited about retail, media, social, live streaming, technology, customer service, design and more, you’ll find amazing projects to work on. If you want to grow professionally and learn every day, you’ll thrive with us. If you appreciate a company committed to inclusion and belonging for all, you’ll be amazed at what’s available for our team members. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package including competitive compensation, paid time off, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid volunteer hours, company discounts and much more. Best of all, working with QVC Group means friendly teams, ambitious projects and fast-moving careers!
For UK-based roles – if you’d like to be considered under this scheme, please indicate this on the application form.
