The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate Retail Planner to join our Home team here at QVC UK on a Fixed Term Contract. You will be part of an exciting, unique business, joining the largest player in vCommerce, which encompasses video-driven shopping across various platforms.

Featuring the right products at the right time is crucial for maximising sales. At QVC UK, we pride ourselves on being a little different from the run-of-the-mill. Reporting to a Planning Manager, you will serve as an objective link between Buyers and our Platforms, ensuring long-term profitability of airtime and products, while maximising short-term sales opportunities.

Your Impact

1. You will work with buyers and be responsible for your own product area, conducting in-depth demand and sales analysis to determine optimal product positioning.
2. You should have experience in sales and inventory analysis within merchandising or stock management.
3. You will be commercially minded, creative, numerate, and proficient in Excel, capable of performing complex functions. You will also forecast sales budgets on a seasonal, quarterly, and weekly basis.

1. Experience working in a retail environment, ideally as a junior merchandiser ready for the next step.
2. Ability to be a team player, partner effectively, and influence where needed.
3. Flexibility and comfort with change, as live environments can present unexpected challenges.
