The Platform Content Creator supports QVC UK, and creates engaging live and pre-recorded content across TV, digital and social platforms to drive customer engagement and sales.
This role will be onsite and based in Chiswick Park, West London. You will be required to work on a shift pattern that will include some weekends.
What You'll Do
- Create and deliver engaging live and pre-recorded video content across QVC platforms, helping to grow views, engagement and incremental sales.
- Produce self-generated content from idea through to execution, including planning, scripting, filming, editing and publishing.
- Support live shopping and social selling activity, including emerging platforms such as TikTok Shop.
- Moderate and engage with online communities during selected live shows, ensuring conversations reflect QVC values and enhance the customer experience.
- Work closely with internal teams including Broadcasting, Digital & Social Media, Platform Strategy, Merchandising and Planning to deliver content in line with briefs, timelines and business goals.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience creating and monetising social media content across multiple platforms, with strong knowledge of current and emerging channels including Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
- Experience producing content using iPhone technology and a broad understanding of video production for social media and live content.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to create compelling content that supports engagement and sales performance.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A good understanding of TV production, social trends, and the QVC brand, with the agility to work at pace and adapt to new production techniques and platforms.
