The Senior Manager, Merchandising supports QVC UK, leading the strategic planning of category performance, multi‑channel programming, airtime allocation and go‑to‑market events to maximise commercial impact and deliver an engaging, customer‑led shopping experience. Reporting to the Director of Planning, Programming and CPM, you will combine deep merchandising expertise with influential leadership. You will work at pace across teams, lead with agility and help shape the future commercial roadmap for QVC UK, while developing and inspiring a high‑performing team.
Where You’ll Work
This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our Chiswick Park, London location 2 days a week. Onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company.
What You’ll Do
- You will lead the strategic development and execution of the multichannel merchandising plan, ensuring category performance is optimised across all platforms.
- You’ll define and implement airtime allocation and programming strategies that balance customer needs, commercial priorities and long‑term growth.
- You will have ownership of the planning and delivery of go‑to‑market and event strategies, partnering cross‑functionally to maximise impact and executional excellence.
- You’ll influence the overall commercial roadmap, working with merchandising, programming, marketing and wider teams.
- You will lead, coach and develop a team, role modelling QVC's Leadership Competency Model and creating an inclusive, high‑performing environment.
- You’ll combine strategic thinking with operational focus, making data‑led decisions at speed while adapting to an evolving retail and media landscape.
What You’ll Bring
- Significant experience in merchandising or category planning, with proven leadership responsibility and the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with confidence working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- You will have experience leading cross‑functional initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, mainly Excel, including the ability to write advanced macros.
- You’ll bring a customer‑first mindset, resilience and curiosity, along with the confidence to lead change, deliver results with speed and help create QVC's future.
