Your Opportunity, Your Team

The Accountant supports QVC UK and you will support the UK Controllership team in accounting for and reporting on QVC UK operations including the Call Centre and Warehouse operations.

Where You'll Work

This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at Knowsley, Liverpool 2 days a week.

What You'll Do

  • You will complete all month-end close activities and prepare accurate journals, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • You will manage daily receivables accounting and reconciliations, maintaining full SOX compliance and documentation.
  • You’ll prepare and review accounting adjustments, cross-charges, accruals, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations, resolving issues promptly.
  • You will support internal and external audits by providing high-quality documentation and collaborating across departments.
  • Build relationships with Finance and Operational teams, offering support, sharing knowledge, and cross-training to ensure team coverage.

What You'll Bring

  • You will be AAT qualified (or equivalent).
  • You’ll have a working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
  • You have experience and prior responsibility for month-end close processes and reporting.
  • You will understand balance sheet reconciliations.
  • You will have experience with SOX controls is beneficial.
