Your Opportunity, Your Team
The Line Producer supports QVC UK. Reporting to the Manager, as Line Producer you will be responsible for producing live and non-live shows with a focus on sales, viewership and high quality editorial content. You will also be responsible for engaging our audience through various social media and interactive platforms ensuring a high quality engaging shopping experience which meets the expectations of our audience.
Where You'll Work
This role is onsite and will require you to work daily from our Media and Commerce Centre at Chiswick Park, West London.
What You'll Do
- To produce live and non-live shows.
- To maximise sales, airtime and viewership at all times, in accordance with the current guidelines and policies.
- To be accountable for ensuring the editorial output of the shows complies with ASA and Ofcom guidelines.
- To provide real time information to the Presenters and Guests in order to fulfil customer needs.
- To ensure production standards and values are maintained at all times, in accordance with current guidelines and house style.
What You'll Bring
You will also ideally have extensive production experience from within a live television shopping environment, good business acumen and a broad understanding of how commercial retailers function along with a strong awareness of effective television sales techniques which includes social media platforms. You will be used to working in a fast paced environment and be able to demonstrate ability to work under pressure. We are looking for a natural born communicator, someone who can motivate, inspire and lead teams confidently. Up-to-date knowledge of OFCOM regulations ensuring all live broadcasting is fully compliant is essential.
Please note: As part of the Line Producer team this role involves working on a shift rota and at weekends.
