Qurate Retail Group is the largest player in video commerce (βvCommerceβ), which includes video-driven shopping across linear TV, ecommerce sites, digital streaming, and social platforms.
We are recruiting for a Consumer Insights Specialist, reporting to the UK Consumer Insights Manager, based at our Chiswick Park office. You will analyze internal and external trends to help identify opportunities by helping key stakeholders understand what motivates customers and influences their behaviour. You will play a key role in creating a customer-centric culture by delivering clear and actionable insights across the organization.
You will conduct primary and secondary research to gather insights about QVC UK's customers and strategic opportunities to improve customer experience, expand digital relevance, grow our customer base, and drive growth. You will influence 'customer-obsessed' decision-making by integrating business insights through relevant delivery methods, including presentations and regular reporting. You will keep the organization updated with marketplace and consumer trends and provide relevant updates and findings.
You will analyze data sets to synthesize and produce hypotheses to support end users. You will build out QVC customer personas, including creative evaluation, development, and research on QVC brand and customers. You will closely monitor market retail, platform, technology, and merchandising landscapes using platforms such as Euromonitor, Stylus, Statista, and Qualtrics.
Your Impact: You will communicate relevant findings through various reporting methods such as PowerPoint, Tableau dashboards, Excel reports, and Word documents. You will present at senior meetings like monthly town halls to embed knowledge and help shape a customer-centric culture. You will collaborate with other stakeholders to share learnings, develop KPIs, and build relationships to efficiently gather marketplace data and insights. You will drive business growth through advice, consulting, and insights along the customer journey across core functions like Merchandising, TV Sales & Distribution, Customer Trends & Marketing, E-marketing & E-Commerce, and Operations.
What You Bring: Understanding of databases and data mining. Ability to select relevant third-party resources and negotiate accordingly. Knowledge of SQL or Python. Experience as a research analyst within a research agency or in-house role. Experience managing qualitative projects, including writing briefs, recruitment, questionnaires, critiquing findings, moderation, and conducting face-to-face depth interviews.
