The Assistant Buyer Beauty supports QVC UK, playing a key role in the end-to-end buying process by providing expert administrative, analytical and operational support to deliver compelling product ranges that meet sales, margin and stock targets. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their buying career who is passionate about product, thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively across teams. This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our Chiswick Park, London location 2 days a week minimum. Onsite days are predetermined and consistent across the business.

You will support the Buyer and Junior Buyer in developing and managing a commercial, customer-focused product range that delivers against sales, margin and stock objectives. You’ll prepare and present product, sales and performance information for key forums including range reviews, Today’s Special Value meetings, Open to Buy and strategy meetings. You will manage critical path activity, ensuring samples, test reports, cost changes and product data are accurate, on time and aligned to QVC quality and safety standards. You’ll act as a key point of contact across the buying process, working closely with suppliers, planning, supply chain, marketing and commerce platform teams. You will build strong product and market knowledge through competitor analysis, trend research and hands-on involvement from concept through to production. Day to day, you’ll balance analysis, organisation and communication, ensuring buying activity runs smoothly while continuously looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.

You will have experience in a buying, merchandising or retail head office role, or a strong commercial foundation through relevant work experience or education. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work accurately under pressure. Confident analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and work collaboratively across teams. You’ll be someone who enjoys being part of a team, shows curiosity about product and customer needs, and takes pride in delivering results with speed and attention to detail.
