Your Opportunity, Your Team
The Assistant Buyer supports QVC International, and provides essential buying and administrative support to help deliver a compelling product range that meets sales, margin and stock targets.
Where You'll Work
This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our Chiswick Park, London location 2 days a week minimum. Onsite days are predetermined and consistent across the business.
What You'll Do
- Manage and monitor the critical path, ensuring product information is accurate, sample arrivals are on time, and updates are communicated effectively to relevant teams.
- Liaising with suppliers on samples, product queries and administrative matters to support this.
- Collate and present product, sales and trend information, including preparing packs and materials for key trading and strategy and vendor meetings.
- Support the Buyer and Junior Buyer with product range development, helping to deliver against sales, margin and stock objectives within a specific category area.
- Assist with supplier meetings, customer service queries, meeting coordination, and other day-to-day department administration.
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in a buying, merchandising, retail administration or similar commercial support role with the ability to prioritise effectively, work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Good analytical skills, commercial awareness and confidence working with sales data, product information and reporting.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across buying, planning, supply chain and supplier teams with a problem-solving mindset, good judgement and adapting to change.
