Your Opportunity, Your Team
The Master Control Operator supports QVC UK. As Master Control Operator, you will ensure the accurate and successful operation of QVC's transmission output on Sky, DTT, Cable, Freesat and interactive media platforms including QVCUK.com, Sky Glass, QVC+ and the Mobile applications.
Where You'll Work
This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Media and Commerce Centre at Chiswick Park, West London. The role is shift based on a 7 week rolling shift pattern.
What You'll Do
- You will maintain continuity of all transmission and media outputs across all QVC channels in compliance with regulatory and contractual standards.
- Be fully coherent with all Broadcast based systems in order to provide operational support and technical training, ensuring continuous output within the Master Control Room.
- Liaise with the offline Gallery to make sure that all pre-records are set up and recorded successfully, ensuring correct sources and line up checks.
- Maintain control of all systems and applications under Master control including operation of the control desk and all associated equipment ensuring that the highest operational standards and agreed service levels are met.
What You'll Bring
- You’ll need to have commercial experience working in Live transmission critical TV environments.
- You will demonstrate moderate experience of working with HTML, RTMP and 1st line troubleshooting skills and have up-to-date knowledge of new and emerging Broadcast Technologies including Web and Mobile Apps.
- The successful candidate will have had operational experience in the maintenance of digital video and audio systems and a good knowledge of EPG data services.
