Where You'll Work

This role is hybrid and will require you to occasionally be onsite at our Knowsley office.

Responsibilities

  • The Cybersecurity Engineer supports QVC UK and you will develop security solutions that align with our goals and industry standards.
  • You will be an important hands-on information security technical resource and subject matter expert.
  • You will work with teams and communicate complex technical concepts to all partners.
  • Provide implementation and operations support for security event and information monitoring, digital certificate and important management processes, endpoint security, and web application security.
  • Perform infrastructure security platform implementation, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Provide guidance to all lines of business on security related to encryption, PKI, certificates, endpoint security, SEIM, and web application security.
  • Create and update run books, standard operating procedures, and customer-facing instruction.
  • Participate with on-call rotation for Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineering.

What You'll Bring

  • You should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or equivalent system security engineering experience.
  • Experience in an engineering role with a focus on endpoint protection, certificate management, SEIM, or web application security.
  • Experience supporting/working with multiple operating systems including Windows Server and Linux/UNIX.
  • You’ll work hands-on with leading cybersecurity tools, including EDR/XDR and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Your experience to include working with SIEM platforms, PKI, certificate authorities (CA), and hardware security modules (HSM).
  • You’ll also leverage your experience with key vaults and encryption services to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our data.
  • Support projects including product upgrades and deployment of new capabilities, tools, and enhancements and daily operational support.
