Your Opportunity, Your Team
Join our Advanced Analytics team as a Data Engineer, helping to build and optimise the data platforms, pipelines and models that power scalable analytics and cloud-based machine learning solutions.
Where You'll Work
This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at Chiswick Park several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). This is a full time, permanent position.
What You'll Do
- Design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Monitor, troubleshoot and improve data quality, reliability and platform performance
- Support cloud data architecture, data modelling, automation, documentation and deployment standards
- Partner with data scientists, analysts, product owners and business stakeholders to deliver practical data solutions
- Keep up to date with emerging cloud and data engineering technologies
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or similar, or equivalent experience
- Strong experience with Oracle, SQL Server, SQL, data modelling, ETL tools and large datasets
- Good Python skills and basic understanding of data science and machine learning
- Familiarity with Spark, Jupyter Notebooks, Linux/Windows environments
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, Azure and Databricks
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker and ingestion tools such as ADF
- Strong communication, analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills
