Your Opportunity, Your Team

Are you ready to make a real impact at QVC Group? We’re looking for a talented Legal Counsel to join our UK team and provide trusted legal support to our business. In this role, you’ll work with colleagues across the whole business, and at all levels, helping to shape decisions that move our business forward and protect our brand. You will be part of a global legal team, working with legal colleagues in the UK, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States.

This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at Chiswick Park in West London 2 days a week.

What You'll Do

  • Advise across the full range of QVC’s UK business. A working day might take you from merchandising to marketing, from TV broadcasting and streaming distribution to a product compliance issue, or from an IP clearance to a celebrity agreement. You’ll provide accurate and actionable advice, based on business needs and overall risk tolerance. You will run your own matters with the support of senior lawyers or law firms when you need it.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts that help us buy products, distribute our video content, operate our e-commerce platforms, operate and maintain our TV studios, distribution centre and offices, and market our products and brand.
  • Support the business with projects driving QVC's strategic focus on social shopping, streaming and other emerging platforms, helping to shape new ways of reaching customers.
  • Keep on top of the legal and regulatory shifts that matter to a video commerce business and spot compliance issues, help the business understand them, and work with the team to continually improve how we monitor and manage risk.
  • Take on projects that make the legal function better over time, helping to continuously improve our processes, data, playbooks, and working with our Legal Operations Manager on the tech and AI tools we use to work more effectively.

What You'll Bring

  • Law degree
  • Approximately 1–3 years’ post-qualification experience in a legal role
  • Strong drafting, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
