Your Opportunity, Your Team
The Assistant Buyer for fashion (FTC 1 Year) supports QVC UK and works across the fashion categories managing the product critical path. You will report to the Buying Manager and work closely with the Buyer and Junior Buyer.
Where You’ll Work
Our Assistant Buyers work in a hybrid role and are required to be onsite at Chiswick Park, West London, 2 days a week. (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company).
What You’ll Do
- You will provide creative and administrative support to the Junior Buyer and Buyer in developing product ranges to meet sales, margin and stock targets within the Fashion department.
- You will work with top brands in helping us always improve and grow our range.
- Manage category-related administrative processes time-sensitive to the business.
- Collate and present product and sales information, trend packs and mood boards, including preparing for the day’s strategic meetings.
- Produce range review packs, market reports and competitor shopping.
What You’ll Bring
- You’ve already had experience within a head office buying environment, at BAA level.
- You will be trend aware, and passionate about product.
- You’ll have experience managing a critical path, be able to partner with suppliers.
- You’ll have the sort of deep product understanding that allows you to prepare guest presenters before a live show.
