We are supporting a leading Tier 1 Bank, who are going through a completely greenfield on-shoring transformation within the Customer Care engineering capabilities. They are going through an exciting journey to establish a next generational engineering centre with the best-in-class technologists and teams across the UK. They are undertaking a major transformation of their customer and employee experience platforms. As part of this, they are rebuilding their Agent Desktop - a critical interface used by both customers and internal teams - with a focus on creating more intelligent, responsive, and scalable user experiences.

They are looking for Front End Engineers to play a key role in shaping and delivering this vision:

  • Build and scale modern front-end applications using React and micro-frontend architecture
  • Develop real-time, responsive user experiences leveraging WebSockets
  • Own and drive high-quality UI/UX implementation, including styling and component design
  • Contribute to the integration of AI-driven experiences, including LLM-powered UI interactions
  • Help shape agentic workflows and augmented user experiences to improve customer outcomes

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in React and modern front-end development
  • Experience working with micro-frontends and scalable UI architectures
  • Strong skills in CSS, styling, and UI component design
  • Understanding of AI/LLM integration at the UI layer
  • Experience building user-centric applications that drive customer and operational outcomes

This is a Permanent role based in Manchester with Hybrid working (2 days in office).
