They are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to manage a small team and oversee the organisation’s technical security environment. This is a hands-on management role, focusing on Microsoft 365, Azure, and security operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor a team of 4 cybersecurity professionals
- Oversee and support technical security across Azure and Microsoft 365
- Monitor and manage alerts via Sentinel and Microsoft Defender
- Drive security improvements through hands-on technical leadership (SOC, vulnerability management, etc.)
- Engage effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Support agile delivery methodology within the security team
Experience and Skills:
- Strong technical expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, Sentinel, and Defender
- Hands-on experience with SOC operations, vulnerability management, or other technical security functions
