Business Solution Designer – Operations CoE | Enterprise-Wide Strategy | Digital, AI & Simplification | Hybrid – Edinburgh or London We’re partnering with a major UK bank looking for a Business Solution Designer to join its Operations Centre of Excellence (CoE) – a strategic team at the heart of enterprise transformation. This is a high-impact, highly visible role focused on shaping business strategy across a wide range of initiatives. You’ll work with senior leaders to tackle complex, cross-cutting operational challenges, applying strategic thinking and emerging technology (including AI and digital solutions) to deliver lasting change. You’ll play a key role in defining and delivering business design strategy – identifying where change is needed, designing what good looks like, and helping to drive it through to execution. What you’ll be doing: Leading the design of business solutions across enterprise-wide initiatives Partnering with stakeholders across operations, strategy, architecture, and delivery Translating high-level requirements into transition states and actionable roadmaps Using data and insight to inform decision-making and prioritise impact Ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall operating model and architectural standards Contributing to the development of digitally- and AI-enabled operational capabilities What we’re looking for: A strong background in business design for enterprise-wide initiatives within financial services Experience working within or closely alongside Operations teams Strategic thinking and the ability to identify and influence the right levers for change Confidence engaging with senior leaders across multiple business areas An understanding of how digital and AI innovation can enhance operational performance This is an excellent opportunity for a senior business designer or transformation leader looking to shape the future of banking operations on a large scale. Location & Package: Hybrid working model with 2-6 days per month in Edinburgh or London Up to £75,000 base (Edinburgh) or up to £90,000 base (London) Plus discretionary bonus, non-contributory pension, and comprehensive benefits
