We’re looking for a QC Scientist to join our Nottingham team and play an important role in ensuring the quality of our pharmaceutical products. This is a great opportunity to build your experience in a GMP environment while working closely with a collaborative and supportive team. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to a variety of analytical techniques and see how your work directly supports clinical studies.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out analytical testing such as dissolution, HPLC, UV and FTIR
- Complete laboratory write-ups and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant
- Support the preparation of specifications, protocols and reports
- Help with QC release testing and management of clinical supplies
- Record and investigate any quality incidents or deviations
- Support SOP preparation and updates
- Contribute to team training and knowledge sharing
Skills and experience required
Essential
- HNC/HND in Chemistry or a related subject
- Some experience in a QC or laboratory setting
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Desirable
- Experience in a GMP or regulated environment
