Quotient Sciences is a leading drug development and manufacturing accelerator, helping biotech and pharma companies bring new medicines to patients faster. With over 35 years of experience and a track record of success, we provide Drug Product (CDMO) and Clinical (CRO) services across the entire development pathway, including formulation development, clinical pharmacology, clinical trials, and commercial product manufacturing. Our proprietary and disruptive platform – “Translational Pharmaceutics®” – integrates Drug Product Manufacturing and Clinical Testing to eliminate silos in the drug development process.
We’re looking for a dedicated Analytical Development Scientist to join our team in Nottingham. This is a full-time permanent position. This is a predominantly lab-based position within our Analytical Development team; you will be responsible for:
- Conducting analytical method setup/transfer and method qualification.
- Testing samples to support formulation development aspects of a study.
- Ensuring full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities:
- Completing analytical testing (e.g.: Assay Related Substances and Dissolution) to deadlines.
- Using HPLC / GC / Karl Fischer and other laboratory equipment for the analysis of samples.
- Writing up lab work in line with GMP and ALCOA+ principles.
- Completing analytical development and qualification activities with guidance.
- Evaluating data generated and contributing to problem solving activities with guidance.
- Checking reagent preparations.
- Completing cleaning verifications and writing cleaning verification reports and protocols with assistance.
- Updating development methods.
- Participating in activities to support the general upkeep of the Laboratory and its equipment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum HNC or HND in Chemistry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Previous experience working in a laboratory or a similar technical environment is desirable.
