Shift Pattern: This role is full-time. Rotational shifts including early shifts (7:00 am – 3:00 pm), long days (7am-8pm), late shifts (finishing up to 11:00 pm), nights (7.45pm – 7.15am). Shifts include weekends and bank holidays.
About the Role
Are you looking to start a career in clinical research? We are seeking Clinical Research Technicians to join our team. We value transferable skills from hospitality, retail, or other customer-facing roles where excellent communication and attention to detail are key.
This role involves supporting clinical trials by performing hands-on tasks such as collecting and processing samples, taking vital signs, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and process biological samples (e.g., blood samples) in line with study protocols.
- Perform clinical procedures such as blood pressure checks, ECGs, spirometry, and other assessments (training provided).
- Ensure accurate completion of source data and quality control checks.
- Support clinical operations and assist with general clinic housekeeping tasks.
- Participate in Immediate Life Support (ILS) training and scenarios.
- Perform ad-hoc duties to support the needs of the business.
What We\’re Looking For
- Minimum GCSE in English and Maths.
- Strong customer service experience from hospitality, retail, or similar roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts including early mornings, long days, late evenings, and weekends.
- Immediate Life Support training is desirable (training can be provided).
