Are you looking for a new challenge? Would you like to work in clinical research? Quotient Sciences have a full-time opportunity available for a Sample Processing Technician. This role is based at the clinical research unit at the site in Nottingham.
Healthy volunteers are taking part in clinical trials in the clinical research unit. Your role is to work closely with the clinical staff by handling a large volume of biological samples (typically blood, urine and feces) which are taken from the volunteers on clinical trials. Sample analysis is not carried out at Quotient, therefore you will be responsible for the reconciliation of all samples that enter the lab and manage the shipment of these samples to 3rd parties who will conduct the analysis offsite. This role involves shift and weekend work.
This is an entry-level role. Full training is provided. A Life Science degree/qualification is desirable. You must have the ability to work at pace, to tight deadlines, along with excellent attention to detail.
