Due to a member of our reception team retiring in December, we are looking for a Receptionist Administrator to join Quotient Sciences' Nottingham reception working 3 days per week, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 8am-5pm. This is a busy, varied, and engaging reception admin role.
Summary of job purpose: To provide professional reception support for the main visitor reception at Trent House along with administrative support to Nottingham colleagues as required.
- Operating a busy switchboard dealing with all telephone calls in a polite, engaging and professional manner
- Providing an efficient and welcoming reception area, dealing with all visitors in an engaging, polite and professional manner
- Ensuring visitors have signed in/out correctly
- Liaise with shipment and courier companies to ensure a smooth collection/delivery of products into and out of the company
- Daily update of Excel spreadsheets to log company shipment activities
- Sort and distribute external post and internal mail
- Franking of all outgoing post, replenish franking machine as necessary
- Arranging DHL shipments
- Monitoring stationery stock levels and dealing with weekly stock replenishment
- Filing, photocopying, shredding and general admin support to the Nottingham site
- Supporting with taxi travel bookings
- Provide administrative support to Nottingham colleagues as required
- If required, completing a smooth evacuation of Trent Reception area and associated tasks required for this.
Qualifications and experience required for competent performance:
- Minimum GCSE/'O' Level English Language
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Strong IT skills (Outlook Email, Excel and Word)
- Relevant reception and administration experience
