Join our Pharmaceutical Sciences Development team at Quotient Sciences as an Associate Formulation Scientist on a 12-month industrial sandwich placement. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in formulation development within a fast-paced, science-driven environment.
You will support the development and characterisation of drug formulations, contributing to projects that accelerate molecules from early development through clinical testing. This role is ideal for students seeking a sandwich placement year as part of their degree.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in pre-formulation and formulation development experiments.
- Prepare and characterise dosage forms under supervision.
- Document laboratory work in compliance with SOPs and GMP standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
- Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment.
- Currently enrolled in a degree programme that includes a placement year.
- Studying a relevant subject such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Drug Delivery.
- Strong interest in formulation science and drug development.
- Ability to commit to a full-time 12-month placement starting June–September 2026.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
- Good computer skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
