We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support our Medical Writing department and the wider Data Sciences group at our Edinburgh office. This role involves providing essential administrative support, including coordinating and publishing clinical study reports to ensure the smooth delivery of high-quality scientific documentation.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • General office administration at the Edinburgh site, including answering the door, receiving deliveries, handling inquiries, assisting at staff meetings, ordering stationery, and other tasks.
  • Liaising with departments such as Facilities, IT, HR/Training, and QA.
  • Collating source documentation for clinical study reports.
  • Assisting in the publishing and hyperlinking of protocols and clinical study reports.
  • Supporting medical writers in archiving procedures and quality control of documents.
  • Providing administrative support to medical writers.
  • Adhering to SOPs, regulatory guidance, and directives.
  • Assisting in end-of-trial reporting, including data entry and quality checks.

Qualifications and experience required

  • Experience in an administrative/support role, ideally in a scientific environment.
  • Effective communication skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe, and Email.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and adapt to change.
