The Role
We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team in Alnwick. You’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised environment across our site, including offices, laboratories, and communal areas. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in high standards and enjoys working as part of a team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning offices, corridors, laboratories, toilets, and general areas
- Following cleaning schedules and site standards to ensure high-quality results
- Safely using cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Keeping cleaning supplies and storage areas clean, stocked, and secure
- Reporting any equipment issues or safety concerns
- Supporting with deliveries and waste collection when required
- Working flexibly across different areas of the site
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience (ideally in a regulated environment such as GMP)
- Good understanding of health & safety and safe chemical use
- A positive attitude and strong team spirit
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to take initiative
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word/Excel)
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
