Quotacom is proud to partner with a leading global technology organisation at the forefront of digital transformation in the retail sector. Their cutting‑edge IoT and SaaS solutions enable retailers to optimise in‑store operations, enhance efficiency, and deliver exceptional customer experiences through connected, data‑driven technology. We’re hiring for a Solution Engineer to play a critical, hands‑on role across pre‑sales, pilots, and deployment for Tier 1 retail customers. This is a highly flexible position where your involvement will adapt based on customer needs, technical complexity, and the maturity of each deployment. You’ll sit at the intersection of technology, retail operations, and customer experience — owning pilots, supporting complex implementations, and ensuring solutions deliver real‑world value in live retail environments.

Responsibilities

  • Project Ownership & Coordination – Lead projects from pilot through to deployment. Run customer pilots based on defined pre‑sales success criteria. Build strong relationships with store teams and senior stakeholders. Translate technical concepts into clear, practical language for non‑technical audiences.
  • Technical Implementation – Install, configure, and integrate solutions across a variety of retail environments.
  • Training & Communication – Design and deliver training for store teams and customer stakeholders.
  • Flexibility, Travel & On‑Site Presence – Travel regularly across the UK, with on‑site presence during pilots; flexible working hours, including some early starts and late finishes. Office base: London.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in varied technical environments and learning new tools quickly.
  • Familiarity with IoT and networking concepts.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in project management or solution delivery.
  • Engineering degree (IT specialisation is a plus, not a requirement).
  • Proven ability to take ownership and deliver projects independently.

If you’re passionate about technology, service excellence, and helping major retailers harness the power of connected solutions, we’d love to hear from you.
