Programme Manager – Sustainability & Compliance / Environmental Compliance Lead

We\\\’re working with a global industrial technology leader, seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead a high-priority and critical transformation within their Aerospace & Defence division, re-designing the environmental footprint of critical technology.

The Mission

The organisation are entering a pivotal 3-year window. With global regulations shifting—specifically the impending changes around PFAS—they need a strategic leader to guide engineering, supply chain, and operations teams toward a compliant, sustainable future.

What You Will Do:

• Lead a multi-year environmental compliance programme with global scope
• Chair and coordinate a senior cross-functional governance group
• Drive the transition to non-PFAS materials in line with EU and US regulations
• Translate complex legislation into practical, business-ready solutions

The ideal candidate will be a patient yet assertive leader, with 7+ years in program management and knowledge of global environmental regulations (REACH, RoHS, PFAS etc.)

This is a high-visibility role suited to someone who enjoys leading change at the intersection of regulation, engineering, and sustainability.

The Setup

• Contract-to-Perm: Initial contract through to September 2026 with a strong intention to make the role permanent.
