AI Strategy Lead

We’re working on behalf of a well established and leading provider of full‑life‑cycle engineering services, who are seeking a Principal Consultant – AI Strategy & Implementation Lead to join their high‑performing digital and data consulting team working across major infrastructure, transport, and energy sectors.

In this senior role, you’ll sit at the intersection of strategy and technology — helping clients identify high‑impact AI opportunities, design end‑to‑end transformation roadmaps, and deliver measurable value through cutting‑edge data and AI solutions.

You’ll work alongside leading experts in digital strategy, data science, and technology delivery, advising C‑suite clients and guiding teams through complex AI transformation journeys.

Responsibilities

• Shape AI and data strategies that drive measurable business value
• Advise C‑suite clients on their AI journey — from roadmap to implementation
• Lead multidisciplinary teams delivering innovative, scalable AI solutions
• Build trusted client partnerships and help win new strategic opportunities

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in consulting or industry, with a focus on civil engineering and infrastructure projects
• Proven leadership in AI strategy, data and digital transformation
• Strategic mindset, combined with deep technical understanding of AI and analytics
• Exceptional communication skills and board‑level presence
• Passion for emerging technology
• Experience managing large, multi‑disciplinary technical teams
