Overview

We are looking for an Intermediate Engineer to design and implement complex front-end solutions across our Upstream Planning portfolio. This role involves supporting technical decisions while ensuring adherence to best practices. The overall objective is to contribute to modern, scalable, and performant user interfaces that enhance deliverable quality and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-end Upstream Planning solutions in an Agile environment.
  • Support architectural standards, best practices, and reusable components across the application portfolio.
  • Adoption of modern technologies and frameworks.
  • Support technical decisions, work with coding standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline the development process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, identify risks, and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with guidelines.
  • And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of application development experience in front-end development.
  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Angular (Angular 2+ to Angular 18+).
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience developing Single Page Applications (SPA) using Angular.
  • Experience building reusable UI components and modular front-end architecture.
  • Familiarity with state management patterns in Angular applications.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and microservices‑based architectures.
  • Proficiency with Git and modern package management tools (npm/yarn).
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and cross‑browser compatible code.
  • Basic understanding of performance optimization and scalable UI design.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good communication skills with fluency in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, etc.).
  • Exposure to React or other front-end frameworks.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AI‑assisted coding tools.
  • Experience in enterprise software development.
  • Knowledge of the upstream oil and gas domain.

Additional Details
