We are looking for an Intermediate Engineer to design and implement complex front-end solutions across our Upstream Planning portfolio. This role involves supporting technical decisions while ensuring adherence to best practices. The overall objective is to contribute to modern, scalable, and performant user interfaces that enhance deliverable quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end Upstream Planning solutions in an Agile environment.
- Support architectural standards, best practices, and reusable components across the application portfolio.
- Adoption of modern technologies and frameworks.
- Support technical decisions, work with coding standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline the development process.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, identify risks, and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with guidelines.
- And other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of JavaScript development experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on front-end development with React 18+ or comparable framework(s).
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) including arrow functions, destructuring, spread operator, async/await, promises, and closures.
- Familiarity with state management.
- Proficiency in using package management systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding in designing solutions for high availability, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of APIs and microservices architecture.
- Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity using AI coding tools.
- Hands-on experience in Angular development (Angular 2+ through Angular 17+).
- Proficiency using TypeScript.
- Familiarity with React Query/TanStack Query.
- Proficiency with Tailwind CSS or other modern CSS frameworks.
- Knowledge of upstream oil and gas domain.
