Role Purpose

The SOC Operations Manager is responsible for the effective delivery of 24x7 SOC operations, leading analysts and team leads to ensure consistent, high‑quality monitoring, investigation, and response for managed security services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage SOC Analysts and Team Leads to ensure effective 24x7 service delivery.
  • Ensure shift coverage, escalation clarity, and adherence to SOC operating procedures.
  • Oversee investigation quality, timeliness, and consistency across analysts.
  • Coordinate operational response during security incidents and major events.
  • Support analysts with guidance and decision‑making during high‑pressure situations.
  • Ensure SOC operations align with defined SLAs, SLOs, and service expectations.
  • Work closely with SOC Engineering & Quality to reduce noise and improve workflows.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Ops Engineering and Platform Engineering on operational feedback.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and contribute to service performance reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement of SOC processes and analyst capability.
