As a Design Engineer at Quorum Cyber, you bridge the gap between design and development, ensuring that user experiences are delivered with high quality, consistency, and performance across our platforms. You work closely with Product Design and Development teams to translate design intent into scalable, production-ready solutions, while enabling rapid prototyping and iteration during discovery.

Responsibilities

  • Translate design concepts, wireframes, and prototypes into high-quality, responsive frontend implementations.
  • Ensure strong alignment between design intent and final product through close collaboration with designers and developers.
  • Implement and maintain design systems in code, contributing to scalable and reusable component libraries.
  • Partner with Product Designers to build interactive prototypes that support discovery, validation, and iteration.
  • Collaborate daily with Development teams to ensure efficient delivery and high-quality user experiences.
  • Identify and resolve gaps between design and implementation, reducing rework and ambiguity.
  • Contribute to improving frontend architecture, performance, accessibility, and usability standards.
  • Support the evolution of design and development processes to improve speed and quality of delivery.

  • Experience working with and implementing design systems and component libraries.
  • Strong understanding of UX and interaction design principles.
  • Ability to interpret design intent and collaborate effectively with Product Designers.
  • Experience with prototyping approaches (code-based or tools such as Figma).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Storybook, Figma, and modern frontend workflows.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across design and development disciplines.
  • Pragmatic problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and delivery.
