Take ownership of cutting-edge production equipment and help us deliver world-class products. Join us as a Skilled Machine Operator/Equipment Owner and play a vital role in ensuring our manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
What you'll be responsible for:
As an Equipment Owner, you’ll become a subject matter expert on the operational parameters of our production equipment, taking full accountability for its performance. You’ll work within the IWS framework to maintain base conditions, optimise centre lines, and deliver zero-loss manufacturing. From performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting to managing changeovers and monitoring yields, you’ll ensure equipment accuracy and product quality go hand in hand. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, defect handling, and breakdown elimination, while supporting health, safety, and food quality standards across the site. This role offers the chance to build technical expertise and leadership capability, working closely with Line Leads, Process Leads, and Maintenance teams to drive operational excellence.
What experience you'll need to have:
- Demonstrable background in a senior production role, ideally within a food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of the food production lifecycle, along with a continuous improvement mindset and background in food manufacturing excellence
- Ability to conduct basic engineering and maintenance tasks on production equipment, along with knowledge of process control systems such as MES/PLC
- Ideally hold qualifications in HACCP and Food Hygiene
- A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet
