Quorn Foods are currently recruiting for a Shift Supervisor/Manufacturing Team Leader to join our manufacturing and operations team out of our Stokesley based manufacturing plant.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Ensuring that your shift team are compliant with business safety and quality procedures.
- Managing a team of manufacturing technicians and operators to deliver line output and meet key production related performance indicators.
- Coaching and developing a multi-skilled team, addressing line losses and performance issues whilst developing technical skills which set priorities for reliability and loss reduction.
- Managing the shift-to-shift handover procedures, creating robust planned stops, driving out losses and ensuring each team member understands their roles and actions to deliver production results.
What experience you'll need to have:
- Demonstrable background in a supervisory/management role within a food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of the food production lifecycle, along with a continuous improvement mindset and background in food manufacturing excellence.
- Excellent leadership skills with a presentable record of effectively managing, coaching and developing a team.
- Ideally hold qualifications in HACCP and Food Hygiene.
- A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet.
